Motor Protector Downhill Skidplate

Description

This is my BBSHD DH SkidPlate Motor Protector. My personal Goldilocks design to maximize protection in the most often impacted areas and adapting the lower vent holes for better ski attributes.  It includes the mounting hardware only (6xM4 bolt and washer).  It does not include the BBSHD motor or the rock.

They are 3d printed using 98A TPU for its impact and abrasion resistance. It’s the same material as is used in some phone cases. The Motor Protector is supported in the center which helps create space between the cover and the aluminum fins of the motor. Designed to help motor slide over unforeseen obstacles or pilot error created situations. It can prevent damage to your motor from debris thrown from your front tire and help keep it from rotating out of place on a hard impact. With the added benefit of protecting the trail when you accidentally case a jump.  Keeps down the added embarrassment of having to go back and repair the divot the fins on the motor dug out like a spade because of your bad judgement. Not to mention having to pick all the dirt that got packed in-between them.
