Mounting your battery below the downtube has it’s advantages, but there can be the danger of tire rub.
Contrary to urban legend, you won’t go OTB if your tire hits your battery cover. You will wear through and create a hole quicker than you might expect. I came up with what I call the Dirkes plate to prevent that from happening.
Named after a much heavier friend who rode my very first build with some inappropriate forks and introduced me to the issue.
You can see the results of long term testing and intentional rub on compression. The TPU results in dirt being rubbed in and creating more of a cosmetic issue. Little wear, and no damage to the battery.
Like a phone protector, the ones on the side can help prevent scratches and damage to the battery whether its on your bike or being charged.
Hailong Style Battery Support

After trying every available thing off the shelf I could find, I have come up with a solution that I believe looks as good as it functions.
The design matches the angles and shape of a Hailong style battery. Custom designed for your downtube unless it matches a frame I have on file.
It is designed to sit between your frame and your stock battery holder, secured with bolts and Rivnuts (threaded rivets) installed in frame.
When shaped to your downtube, it offers a great deal of lateral support for the battery.

I am getting close to a version I can reproduce with high quality and a lower level of elbow grease.

Portable, Fire Containment, Safe Charging Box

It enables you to know how far along your charge is, what voltage it is attempting to charge to, and current state of charge. Developing one that will enable you to set to a percentage of full charge.
Your charger plugs into the outside of a steel box with clasp and handle.
Lined with a 2000 degree welding blanket and an inline blade fuse. Used for safe transport of your battery in your vehicle.
It is vented to prevent rapid expansion of gasses, which may causing unplanned disassembly.
