BBSHD Chainguides

It doesn’t matter if it happens all the time or just on occasion…

Nothing stops your flow like throwing your chain!

Now you have to stop, dismount, make sure your out of the way, and get your hands dirty.

After many years of trial and error (and improving my design skills) I came up with a base design

that works on engine positions from my hardtail to my DH bikes and secures to the back of the motor.

(using the available threaded holes)

While refining and testing I came up with three Styles.

One for my Single Speed DH bikes with the tensioner moved upfront to help further reduce the rear unsprung weight.

Partnered with a rear Fixed Sprocket guide to lock the chain at the bottom of the rear cog.

This also resolved issue with all these old bikes I love having hard to find,

bent derailleur hangars throwing things off.

For Multi-Geared Bikes there is one with a Single Sprocket wheel or choose no jockey wheel at all.

Each one has an adjustable Chainstop keeping the chain locked on at the top of the chainring.

Here are my solutions to keeping my chains on my BBSHDs at all times.
